A fact frequently reported in the media is the explosive growth of conflict in all aspects of our lives. One response has been the increasing use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms by affected communities and organizations. For all of the diverse venues in which dispute resolution is now being used or considered, there is a need for a basic practice-oriented forum for all interested parties to discuss dispute resolution issues.
Practical Dispute Resolution seeks to provide that forum.
Practical Dispute Resolution features articles, reviews and summaries which inform the general dispute resolution community of practical issues, developments and concerns that may be of interest but heretofore have not had an expansive audience. To this end, a few articles initially published elsewhere may be reprinted with permission from the initial source and the author.
Practical Dispute Resolution is written and edited by those involved in the various aspects of managing and resolving conflict and its related field, including those new to the field.
It is our hope that ADR practitioners and those interested in and associated with the field will profit from this publication. To request subscription information or to obtain individual copies of
